Nature Lessons

Nature teaches us to slowdown, breathe and find stillness in the most simplest of things, letting go is a form of surrender.

When we look at the trees, look how deeply connected they are to their roots into the earth, there is a lesson we can learn from this, to always stay connected, when we are disconnected from ourselves, feel so out of our own bodies and mind, that we can actually feel it in our tissues and physical body, when we allow time to sit and surrender to the stillness, it can teach us to be nurtured by the earth, feeling supported and loved.

Just like the autumn leaves that fall from the trees onto the ground, they have the ability to let go release and take what they need to feel nourished and deeply rooted, can we look at ourselves like an extension of the trees, nature is content with itself and looks no further than inwards to feel connection and love. The change of seasons allows old habits and thoughts to let go and bring in a new deeper understanding of ourselves and the world with the changing of the season 

Next time you feel disconnected, take a walk in nature and remind yourself that all beauty exists within ourselves.
